Founder, Green Bee

After prior stints in technology and investment banking, Chris made a leap from Wall Street and landed in Maine to pursue his passion for beverages. With a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from WPI and an MBA in Finance From New York University in hand, Chris comes well prepared for any challenge.

He is a man known for his passion for bees, cooking, brewing and loud 80’s ballads. When not at work, he enjoys time with his three kids and nurturing various bubbly yeast and sourdough cultures.

Co-Founder

Lori and Chris were high school sweethearts. Although, Lori is quick to point out that Chris is way older! After graduating from Green Mountain College with a major in Liberal Studies and a minor in drinking games, she moved to NYC to be with Chris.

She has worked as a florist, visual merchandiser and event planner. A self professed Realtor.com junkie, she loves cooking, taking care of her bees and flowers. She is the proud mother of three awesome kids, one adorable pitt bull and Jimmy – the coolest cat in world.

Production Team

Emily is a native Mainer, born and raised in Penobscot county. She attended college in Bangor and was awarded a bachelor's degree in biology as well as a bachelor's degree in environmental science. Prior to Green Bee, she has worked as a soil scientist and wetland biologist.

An environmentalist and localist at heart, Emily feels right at home working hands on to produce a quality product that tastes good and makes people smile. She believes the jokes she tells make the soda taste even better, but we are still waiting on the data.

Production Team

Steve has always had an affinity for the aqueous. At a young age Steve set his sights on becoming a marine biologist. For the majority of his life he has been in and around wet environments. This career path made him uniquely qualified to join the Green Bee Soda team. As a jack of all trades with a Masters in Marine Biology, he was aptly suited for a life of pumps, hoses and carbonation.

When not putting soda into bottles and bottles into boxes, Steve has been unsuccessfully (for 25 years) trying to avoid the band Widespread Panic who always seem to find him wherever he is. He also enjoys cooking, board and video games and spending time with his partner and his German Shepherd.

Production Team

Every since he was old enough to grip a tape gun, Ryan has been helping out his family at Green Bee. With honey soda in his blood and the aid of cybernetic enhancements, he has become one of the most powerful employees in the history of soda making.

When he's not constructing Green Bee boxes or moving thousand pound pallets with his bare hands, he can be found standing atop sky scrapers watching over humanity. Deciding who is worthy of being saved and who deserves the fates that have befallen them. He also enjoys kayaking.
